St. Mary’s Lighthouse stands proud on a tiny little rocky, tidal island, linked to the mainland by a short concrete causeway which is submerged at high tide. Challenge the family to climb to the top of the lighthouse, with 137 steps, for the most spectacular views of the North east coastline. You can also discover the history of the Lighthouse and gain an insight into the wildlife of St. Mary’s Nature Reserve.
