The Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art ·

You can expect a dynamic, diverse and impressive collection of contemporary visual art across six floors at the Baltic. The iconic industrial building located on the south bank of the river Tyne is a converted flour mill, dating back to the 1940’s. Whilst the external character of the building was retained, the internal structure was redesigned to provide a spacious and minimalist interior to fully showcase a frequently changing programme of art exhibitions.
